In 2010, you and your students can save threatened South American rainforest to offset carbon pollution and combat global warming or help protect critically endangered leatherback sea turtles. And you can help us make the BIGGEST tree in the world! The Earth Bank kit includes complete instructions for the easiest coin drive ever and all the materials you need to create branches of the biggest tree.
Since 1989, students and teachers have raised $6.85 million to purchase and protect 400,000 acres of threatened rainforest and other precious wildlands around the world-a Big Gift to the Earth!
All of the money collected at our school came from our students: change from lunch money and change from their piggy banks at home. A lot of our kids are on free lunch or reduced-price lunch. Over time, one student collected $30 in change. He donated it all! We hope this helps!

…all our students made contributions unselfishly in celebration of the Earth and gained a wealth of knowledge and positive experience. We believe that the great achievement of this event was largely due to the Bit Gift Earth Bank provided for each and every student.
Stella Escudé, Suva Elementary School
Banks are free-including shipping. Visit earthsbirthday.org/gifts to learn more about Big Gift to the Earth.
